Sanad Aerotech is the MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) division of Sanad Group, a global aerospace engineering and leasing solutions company wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company PJSC, the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Sanad Aerotech is the largest and leading independent engine MRO provider in the Middle East, with over 35 years of operational history tracing back to the founding of Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO) in 1987.

Sanad Aerotech specialises in commercial aircraft engine MRO, having overhauled more than 830 engines since 2015 across three engine types. The company holds regulatory approvals from 17 civil aviation authorities worldwide including EASA (Europe), FAA (USA), GCAA (UAE), CAAC (China), GACA (Saudi Arabia), QCAA (Qatar), CAA Oman, and others. Accreditations include ISO 9001:2015, EN 9110:2018, AS9110C, ADOSH (UAE HSE), and SABRe (Rolls-Royce supplier programme).

Named airline customers include Etihad Airways, American Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Saudia Airlines, and Wizz Air, among others. OEM partnerships include Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation, International Aero Engines (IAE/V2500), CFM, and Pratt & Whitney. The company has deployed Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies including VoCollect voice-activated AI inspection, TrackIT RFID tracking, Smart Connect digital torque management, and automated maintenance process tools. It has also invested AED 3 billion in leasing assets and secured AED 33 billion in long-term commitments since 2018. More than 90% of revenues are sourced from outside the UAE, demonstrating a truly global customer base.
