Hughey & Phillips

The L-849I and L-849V are Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs) from Hughey & Phillips' Navigate Series, designed to give pilots an unambiguous visual fix on the approach end of a runway during night operations or degraded visibility.

The AB-1000 LED is Hughey & Phillips' Voyager Series airport/airfield identification beacon, designated to FAA Type L-801A(L).

The L-861 and L-862 series are elevated LED airfield lighting fixtures covering the most common fixture types on a runway pavement: runway edge (L-862), runway threshold and displaced threshold (L-862E), and stop bar (L-862S).

The L-880 and L-881 are Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) systems that give landing pilots a calibrated visual glideslope reference — the standard red-over-white colour transition that indicates above, on, or below the defined approach angle.

The L-852 series comprises Style-3 inset LED taxiway centreline lights covering the four variants required by FAA AC 150/5345-46 to address the full range of pavement geometry and visibility category encountered at a certificated aerodrome.

The HORIZON L-810IR combines a standard FAA Type L-810 red steady-burn or flashing LED output with a simultaneous 860-nanometre infrared channel, meeting the growing requirement for obstruction lighting that is visible to Night Vision Goggle (NVG) equipped aircrew as well as the unaided eye.

The HORIZON SMART-CON X4 is a multi-light controller designed to govern up to four aviation obstruction beacons plus up to nine sidelights per FAA specification from a single, field-mounted enclosure.
