The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is a Saudi Arabian government regulatory and development authority operating under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Digital Government Authority. GAMI regulates, licenses, and develops the national military industries sector as part of Saudi Vision 2030's goal to localize 50% of military spending domestically. Its three pillars are Defence Acquisition, Defence Industry, and Defence Technology. GAMI administers the Military Industries Scholarship Program, the Academy of Defense Industries, and the Unified Military Industries Portal. In 2024, GAMI reported 24.89% of military spending directed to the local sector, 40.74% local content in military spending, and contributions of 1.78 billion and 4.255 billion to GDP and employment respectively.
