What is APEX FTE EXPO Asia 2026?

For 2026, APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) and Future Travel Experience (FTE) merge their Asia programmes into one unified event — APEX FTE EXPO Asia. APEX brings its flagship global EXPO to Asia for the first time in ten years, combining with FTE's established regional innovation platform.

The result is the industry's most comprehensive end-to-end passenger experience show in APAC: inflight entertainment and connectivity on one side, airport digital transformation and passenger processing on the other — under one roof in Singapore.

Two pillars — inflight and on-the-ground

The event splits into two strategic pillars attendees can navigate by role.

  • APEX EXPO — Inflight Innovation: IFE, inflight connectivity, IFEC hardware, digital cabin, cabin interiors, onboard retail, customer experience
  • FTE — On the Ground Innovation: digital transformation, AI & automation, passenger processing, biometrics, baggage, sustainability, commercial yield
  • Meet airline leaders for cabin product, IFE, connectivity, digital CX, and innovation
  • Meet airport leaders for ops, IT/digital, baggage, commercial, and CX

Exhibition and conference

The free-to-visit exhibition expects 3,000+ participants including representatives from 100+ airlines and airport operators worldwide. The expo hall spans airport operations through inflight entertainment, connectivity, cabin innovation, and onboard retail.

Conference content runs across three stages: the FTE Premium Conference Stage, the APEX Premium Conference Stage, and a free EXPO Stage — plus C-suite interviews, case studies, panel discussions, innovation showcases, live demos, awards, and one-to-one meetings via the Attendee Engagement Platform.

  • Changi Airport Tours (headline partner feature)
  • APEX World of Content
  • Inflight Innovation Pavilion & Inflight Services Zone
  • Startup Zone
  • One-to-One Meeting Hub
  • Airline Lounge and Tech & Innovation Briefings

Headline partners and GCC presence

Changi Airport Group and Singapore Airlines are headline partners for 2026. Prior FTE Asia editions have drawn senior GCC speakers — including Gulf Air Group CEO Jeffrey Goh, Oman Air CEO Con Korfiatis, Saudia Chief Guest Experience Officer Rossen Dimitrov, Qatar Airways SVP Product Development Xia Cai, flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway, and King Salman International Airport VP Innovation Linda Schucroft — making this a practical scouting event for Gulf airline and airport CX/IT teams even though the venue is Singapore.

Why Gulf airline and airport teams attend

GCC carriers compete on passenger experience as much as network — IFE, Wi-Fi, biometrics, and terminal digitalisation are board-level priorities. APEX FTE EXPO Asia concentrates the vendors Emirates, Qatar Airways, Saudia, flydubai and Gulf airports evaluate, alongside APAC innovators who often enter Gulf tenders after proving at Changi.

Use the free exhibition to shortlist IFEC and airport IT vendors, then validate GCC install evidence and certification on Aviation Souk before RFP release.

  • Split your team: cabin/IFE on APEX track, airport IT on FTE track
  • Prioritise vendors with both inflight and ground references if you are standardising digital CX
  • Use one-to-one meeting hub for structured vendor interviews
  • Watch startup zone for biometrics and AI pilots scalable to Gulf hubs
